Aaron...
Well it looks as though the curse of the calf has hit Chris with confirmation of a tear in his left calf last night, he has done everything by the book though and I have no doubt he will be back at 100% in 3 maybe 4 days. Its lucky in a way it is now rather than a month ago as he has done all of the hard yards and we are now scaling back. I have to be honest and say that I don't think I have done enough hill work and its playing on my mind a little, I went up the Peak today and it took longer than I was expecting but managed to not stop so that was a good thing. Flats tomorrow then another assault on the Peak on Thursday and we will see how we go. I called into the physio on the way back down and picked up a snazzy pair of compression tights so I will look like a right fruitcake now but if they do the trick I am really not bothered. One look at me and I think you will know I gave up caring about looks a long time ago, no blonde hair dyes for me aye Chris!
Lucie has taken to the fundraising trail and is going around some of the local businesses and getting flyer's up where she can, she is a pretty determined woman so I am sure we will see flyer's up all over town by the end of the week. There is also a really good article about Gina and the Triple Peaks in the Village Press today and I am sure Chris will try and get it onto the website somehow. Well that's all for now so keep smiling and catch you later. Kia Kaha Aaron.
